From a series of increasingly elevated and testing tees, the ninth is a challenging hole. A good drive will avoid the ditch, the white stakes on the left, the lake, and trees on the right. Then, it’s uphill all the way to the furthest point of the course, to a raised green protected by hungry bunkers to the left and a surprisingly dense copse to the right.
“This Stroke Index 1 hole requires a long straight drive to leave a second shot to land short of the green which will bounce in from the right side. You must allow more club to an elevated green.”
