The start of the back nine begins, unusually, about as far away from the clubhouse as one can possibly be! From an elevated tee, a blind drive heads towards a lake. This is a dogleg left, a genuine par 5, the narrow green slopes towards you and is protected by bunkers to the right and left, and trees beyond.
“A blind tee shot requires a maximum distance of 240 yards to take the water out of play, and then a layup shot to leave your favourite yardage into a slight hogs back green.”
